We had a fantastic bonfire on Saturday 6th of November this year – we raised several thousand pounds all of which will go back into the local community and nearly 3,000 people had a great evening out with two firework displays, a bonfire, fancy dress competition, fire jugglers, a fairground, BBQ and hot drinks.
Thanks to everyone who helped out including a record turn out from Buxton Rotary Club and volunteers from the Christmas Lights Commitee.

I was visiting Buxton specifically to go to the fireworks event which I heard about from the local council. I live about 50 miles away and I was staying at the Grin Low Caravan Park and we made our way into town for the event. Everyone was really friendly and the fireworks and bonfires were spectacular and I hope that I shall be able to visit again this year. Thank you to all involved in organising this brilliant event
